I believe that by providing compassionate and evidence-informed care, I can help my patients overcome their pain and achieve their goals, whether it be returning to sports, work, or everyday activities.

Hobbies: Motorcycling, Weightlifting, Muay Thai, Adventures with my mini aussie.

I am a board-certified Chiropractor who is passionate about getting you back to doing what you LOVE to do. My motto is that if pain is limiting your ability to do something that is important to you (ie. hitting a PR in the gym, being part of a team sport, taking care of family members, or just being able to do your job), we will find a way together.

During my time at university and chiropractic college, I spent countless hours pursuing my powerlifting goals. In 2017, I had the opportunity to represent Canada in the International Powerlifting Federation’s World Championship in Belarus. I brought home a Gold medal for the Squat event, a Bronze medal for the deadlift event, and a Bronze overall in the under-23 women’s category.  This experience has not only improved my understanding of the physical capabilities of the human body, but also the relationship between physical and mental well-being.

Outside of practice (and if the weather permits), I also enjoy riding motorcycles as a way to unwind and clear my mind. I love the feeling of freedom and adventure that comes with riding and often take long trips on my motorcycle to explore new places and meet new people. I see my motorcycle as a way to connect with my own sense of identity and individuality, which I believe is important for maintaining a healthy work-life balance.

As a chiropractor, I encourage my patients to find activities they enjoy that will help them stay physically active, mentally engaged, and motivated to achieve their health goals. I believe that a well-rounded approach includes not just physical care, but also personal interests and passions that contribute to overall well-being.

A major turning point in my life happened not long after the high of competing at the IPF Championships. Unfortunately, I was involved in a motorcycle accident that left me with a broken clavicle requiring surgical fixation and a longer-than-usual healing period. Being told that I should/could not do the two things in my life that brought me joy was difficult, to say the least. Despite this, I was able to refocus my goals and expectations about what I was capable of. Through countless hours of rehab, exploring where my limitations were, and finding appropriate phases of progression. I am able to continue doing the things I love... even if it meant applying some modifications.

This has given me a unique perspective and understanding of the physical and mental toll that chronic pain can have on a person's life. I understand the frustration and disappointment that can come with being told to stop doing things that bring you joy. These experiences with such injuries have given me a deep appreciation for the physical and emotional impact of pain and injury. My goal is to help others overcome these challenges and regain their sense of self.
